AMPLEFORTH COLLEGE RUGBY TOUR OF PORTUGAL.

Ampleforth College (York, England) arrived yesterday in Lisbon airport for a complete rugby tour that includes playing two (2) matches against local teams, amazing sightseeing, fun filled group activities and immersion into the local Portuguese culture. This is the second time in three years that Ampleforth College visit the city of Lisbon which clearly demonstrates how much the school and their rugby coaches appreciate this part of the world, the standard of the local rugby and the Portuguese hospitality.

Ampleforth College rugby teams compete in the Natwest National Schools Trophy and some of their players in the past have moved on to representational honours including one special Lawrence Nero Dallaglio who won 85 caps for England and captain the British & Irish Lions! Bem-vindos a Portugal!
